Posada Colonial Beach Villas

Check in after hours was easy by using a lockbox with the key inside. The lodging was very spacious and had all the necessary amenities to make myself at home. The AC worked wonders! Just a short walk to several restaurants and cafes, as well as the beach. The host was responsive, watched my baggage after check out, and gave me a ride to my next stay free of charge. Would stay again!

Place was very clean. We expected a difference exoerience staying in a "villa" on beautiful property. Instead it was an apartment, with not much "property" to enjoy. No place for the two of us to sit outside our Unit A. Given this was our last night in Puerto Rico after 10 days on Culebra we would have preferred being in Old SanJuan. That was my mistake, not the Villa's. Instructions to access apartment were very clear.

Location...our mistake!

I loved the free shuttle to the airport and the ability to schedule a pick up from the ferry station in Ceiba. We got excellent restaurant and activity recommendations.

Easy self checkin and very responsive host via text. They were generous in offering airport shuttle and storing bags before/after checkout. The place was nice and clean and I loved the beautiful tile work and all the plants outside. This is also in a great location, tucked away on a quiet street but a very busy street is just one block away full of restaurants and such.

Clean, open and pretty

Difficult to find parking Ants everywhere, ruined all our non perishables we placed on counter. Alive, Roaches in the bathrooms.

I liked the ability to fit a lot of people with the bed accommodations. The lady who shuttled our group was sweet.

The apartments were in a sketchy neighborhood, that looked like the projects. There was no soap, no shampoo, and very little amenities, considering we were booking this place to be able to cook and work out of like a home. The ranges were not hooked up to propane and didn’t work, and there was no acknowledgment of this in advance. Had I known that I had to go out and buy hand soap for the bathroom, soap, and shampoo – napkins paper goods, I would have just stayed in a hotel that offered a breakfast. I wouldn’t have purchased a bunch of groceries expecting to be able to cook. I was concerned about the location. It did not feel like safe. Very poor communication.
