Need to arrange meals

Very nice place and also very close to both beaches. Rooms were very clean. The hotel crew, especially Nithu, was very friendly and helpful.

Good bed and aircon

Everything else, it looks abandoned, broken doors, shower, wifi didn’t reach to the room. No reception, just 4 kids there that don’t speak English

Location

The rooms were big and A/C was very good. Good location - close to the beach and town.

The member of staff who was on shift when we were there. We were the only guests, and he was the only staff member. He started off great - super helpful, had some good conversations and shared some beers together. However, as the evening went on, it transpired that he'd been drinking throughout the day and got absolutely wasted very quickly. Before we started drinking, he gave me a lift to a bar where we could pick up some beers. When we got to the bar, he told me to hold his hand (which I refused) and he started telling everyone I was his girlfriend. I thought this behaviour was odd because I hadn't given him any reason to think this way... When we got back to the hotel, we were sharing some beers (with my partner - but as it's an LGBTQIA+ relationship, we had to pretend we were just friends as homosexuality is illegal in SL) - He kept being very handsy - touching my hair, jokingly pushing me, saying he liked my lips, etc. He then started getting aggressive and started shouting at me asking why I didn't hold his hand in the bar. I asked why he wanted me to do that, and he wouldn't answer me - just kept saying he wanted me to hold his hand... So it was very much "do what I say or I'll get aggressive" - anyway, a lot more went on, and we were left feeling very uncomfortable with nowhere else to go, and nobody to contact as it was him who was on the chat session on booking.com. He also kept asking if I wanted to move to a different room so I could be "alone". This guy should not be left alone with guests, and it terrifies me that if I was a female solo traveller, who knows what could have happened. In the morning, he was apologetic but tried to pass it off as just being friendly... He even called his friend over to prove that he hugs his friends. It got quite awkward when I told him to tell his friend he had nice lips, and to hold his hand next time they're in a bar together. Of course he wasn't just being...

Big room with AC and near to the Kalkuda Beach. The staff was very friendly and in general we had a good time there. Due to low season there aren’t many people and no restaurant available at the property. They still made it able for us to get breakfast there. We can recommend to stay there.

Comfortable villa with good aircon and close to the beach.

Loud music played in common area until late. Staff unhelpful in terms of organising any meals.
