Location. Very near John Hay

Steep and sometimes slippery pathways when going to different rooms.

I stayed there for one night, and it was a very good stay. Everything was comfortable and well taken care of. I especially appreciate the exclusivity of the place and the feeling of living like a local in the area. It gives a peaceful and authentic experience.

The water pressure in the bathroom could be a bit stronger, and having a trash bin inside the room would be helpful. Addressing these small details and possibly making minor improvements could make the overall experience even better.

Good amenities and hot water.

Couldn't contact the owner for check in had to find one of the residents to phone him. The bed was extremely uncomfort so could hardly sleep the whole stay. The wifi was very bad. The toilet had no seat. The room is also right next to the main road, and the windows do not close, so its extremely loud the entire time. The location is also very remote. Would not recommend.

On the positive side, the location is convenient, it's near the main road and close to Camp John Hay, which is a plus. The caretaker was also very nice and accommodating.

The room we initially booked was given to another guest upon arrival. There was also a power interruption on our first day, and the internet was slower than expected. Unfortunately, we encountered a cockroach in one of the rooms. The bathroom clearly needs updating; there was no flush, and it was very small. The sheets were extremely thin and should be replaced, and the comforters had a moldy smell. The pillows were also too thin to be comfortable. The floors were dirty, and there were mosquitoes and even cat poop in the area. The stairs were very steep and difficult to go up and down; I even had a severe leg cramp on our first day. Since the place is near the main road, we could hear vehicles passing by all the time. I would only recommend this place for a one-day stay. For longer stays, I would personally choose comfort over this option next time.

The host is fast to answer our queries and concern. Very considerate. The rate is ok.

Since my husband had a pain in his knee, the room have too many stairs and a little bit far. The heater doesn't work well, its too hot. The pic posted is not somewhat the same on actual look of the room.

C'était encore une fois une halte d'une nuit entre 2 bus.... Rien d'extraordinaire, suffisant pour dormir.
