Georgios is a wonderful host and very supportive. Going there is like meeting an old friend. With the rooms also comes his uniquely equipped tavern where you can always sit outside, have something to drink and to eat and watch the lively atmosphere away from the main streets. My room was spacious, well equipped, also with a big mirror and a desk for working. The also spacious, thus comfortable bathroom was just a couple of steps away. And not to forget the big rooftop terrace with great view over Heraklion where I had my yoga routines in the morning. Heavy luggage goes easy with an elevator. Easy to reach by bus from the airport in 20 mins, All the nice places and shops in 5-10 mins.

I liked the unique older style of it all very much. Don't go if you like sterile clean cut anonymous hotels.

The landlord and waitress were welcoming and provided complimentary beer on arrival The location was good and central to town and seafront. The bar and taverna were quirky, and the architecture of the building unique. The building had wonderful features such as high ceilings, old victorian french doors both internal and external The landlord had added character and warmth to the outdoor seating area, and the taverna exuded an arty and bohemian vibe with good home cooked menu.

The room was really very substandard , akin to a youth hostel , with an uncomfortable bed with no sink or ensuite There was a shared bathroom with a toilet raised on a plinth along with a curious shower with someone's underpants left hanging on the tap.The bathroom also appeared to double as the tavernas laundry room and was shared by who knows? The room was stuffy and poorly furnished .Linen supplied for the bed was clean but badly worn, and towels were hard and grey.We had to hunt for a light bulb for the lamp. The winding stairway to the room on the second floor was supported by acroprops and appeared to be dangerously close to collapsing. The worst thing about this room was the noise at night and we had hardly any sleep . The taverna immediately below hosted a greek band, and people were partying well past 2am. Also, the taverna and rooms seemed to be directly below the flight path to Heraklian

Apartment on top floor overlooking Heraklion. Views are breathtaking at any time of day, from seaview breakfasts to sunset aperitifs. Just on the edge of the Old Town. The host is very helpful and hospitable.

The owner , Jose is a good chap and a chef cook! Roof-top terrace wirh nice views.

5 stars! This accomodation was great in so many ways. The location was great in the centre, walking distance to shops with restaurants all around. Located on the top floor with a big terrace to enjoy the sunset. The host is very sweet and helpful, giving us water and fresh fruit daily. Bonus with wifi and a laundry machine. He also owns a restaurant downstairs which is also amazing and we would definitely recommend, great food and great service. Overall the accomodation was nice & spacious, we will definitely stay here next time!
