Awesome communication and responsive time with Marissa, allowed us to check out a little later than normal so appreciated that and the extra treats. Great location and quiet. Typical homely feel, especially when the fire is cranking. Very affordable and clean.

Kitchen a bit small but there were 5x of us so only a minor issue.

My family and I felt like we were home away from home. Great location, close to nature and all it's beauty. Decor matched the home nicely. Loved reading the book about Whangaroa on the coffee table. The home is very well insulated, and the breeze that comes through is absolutely amazing. Our Host, Marisa was so accommodating, easy to talk too and very helpful. We left our little portable fridge behind. She kindly dropped it to family (in the area) for us. We were extremely grateful.

It was an amazing stay. Pouring rain and we loved hunkering down. Our puppy really enjoyed the grounds and was super calm.

I can't say enough good things about the host, Marisa. She left fresh plums, butter, honey, and rolls for our arrival. Included us in herding the cows to a new pasture and feeding the chickens, which absolutely thrilled my preschoolers. Let us keep all the fresh eggs during our stay. She even took a professional, long-distance photo of us while we climbed St. Paul's rock and emailed it to me! The beds were comfortable; the linens were clean; the kitchen was fully stocked. It was comfortable to just sit around the table playing card games for half a day.

The coffee table needed to be half the size. It dominated an already small lounge making it and the lounge mostly unusable.
