La Bellavista Toscana

Location was perfect. Elisabetta is an amazing host - meet us at the train station! Always kept in touch and gave honest and accurate recommendations.

There are stairs to get to the room. Wasn’t an issue for us but could be for others.

The location was excellent within reach of most areas , close to the railway station, cafes and all shops. The host was always available whenever she was needed and gave us good advice on places to eat.

There was Not anything we didn’t like. We loved everything about the place.

The apartment is located on the main square within easy walking distance of the station, funicular and several good restaurants. It was spotlessly clean and contained everything required for a 3 night stay. The kitchenette is compact but fully equipped including a kettle, coffee machine, fridge and microwave. The sleeping area has a great view across the square to Certaldo Alto but the windows also have 2 sets of shutters to keep out the heat and any noise. The bathroom has a walk in shower and various toiletries were supplied. The host, Elisabetta, was super in every sense: extremely friendly, kind and helpful. Though not needed, she made it clear she was contactable 24/7. Her kindness even extended to re-acquainting us with the chef who produced our wedding dinner 10 years ago! That made our trip even more special. Grazie mille, Elisabetta!!

There was nothing to dislike.

The Host (Elisabetta) spoke English well, was very knowledgeable about the local area, had good recommendations about things to do (restaurants, local sights, local culture), and was always available to us (we could message her at any time with questions, and she was responsive). She was personable, friendly, and made our stay wonderful. Also wonderful was Certaldo, which exceeded our expectations. We will return, but for a longer stay!

I must say that there was nothing about our stay that we didn't like. Our stay was better than we expected, and we will return to Certaldo and this Host for a next stay at least twice as long (or more).

Absolutely everything Elisabetta went above and beyond to make sure our stay was fantastic!

The room is very new and very clean. Really comfortable in the air-conditioning was a great plus!

Nothing to note!

There were so many things: location in the center of town with a great view from the balcony. Everything was clean and in wonderful condition. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was heavenly. I was so impressed that the plants, including a blooming orchid, were real! Our hostess Elisabetta, was welcoming and wonderful, bending over backwards to cheerfully help us solve some problems that arose.

Our only issue was the street noise, but that was also part of the joy, because lots of locals gather and stroll outside by the square, pizza place, and gelateria. We needed to close the windows and balcony doors to sleep.

The location of the property is exceptional and so is the host Elisabetta. A beautiful apartment with a view of Certaldo Alto. Beautiful!
