Being just below ground level missed having more daylight.

The apartment was in an excellent location, beautifully kept and even had a lovely patio area. Ivana, our host was really friendly and supportive throughout our visit. We would definitely come back again.

The host was very nice, reactive and arranging. The room in itself was large, comfortable and very well equipped. The AC worked perfectly well. It is well located and easy to access.

Nothing, we had a very nice stay.

First and most important the fact that it’s a new and well renovated, beautifully designed accomodation with a cozy and full of character little garden, with beautiful plants that are very well maintained. The room is good size (no.2), the bed is comfortable, the sheets, pillows and cosmetics are of very good quality, the shower is very nice, the towels were a bit rough but ok, under the sink you have vanity kit with everything you might need in a vacation. The windows face the narrow street so the wooden blinds have to stay closed for privacy, but we didn’t mind that. Also good coffee and tea which became very useful as we got a strange flu the last two days of our stay. The attention to details of the host Ivana is impressive, I appreciate the way she answered all our questions, the fact that she understood we were not early risers & the cleaning of the room, the way she helped us shocked not to find our car because it was lifted at 8a.m from the parking nearby with payed parking ticket in the window, just because we were tourists and they can abuse you how they like. The next day 8th july there was a horrendous storm in Split and our car got hit by big hail so Ivana told us to go check it. I love the way she cares and treats you as a guest, not just selling you a room and waiting for you to get out of it! It’s the first time someone has a 10 with congrats from me and applause for being a nice human! It’s a rare trait these days so if we have the courage to come back to beautiful Split we’ll definitely stay here again. 🙂

Maybe the air con should not be so near the bed. It’s impossible to sleep without if it’s so hot outside and unfortunately it reduces the immunity and body adaptability to heat, even if you set it on a higher temperature as we did.

The room was lovely, clean and very close within walking distance to town centre. The owner was very responsive when notified our fridge did not work. We had a new one within the hour. There was a lovely little courtyard outside the room.

The small sofa faced onto a blank wall so we didn’t use it. The owner left us 2 drinks but we only had 2 wine glasses. We had coffee pods which was good but only 2 small milk pods and both were needed for one coffee. There was no sugar for the tea or coffee pods, only sweeteners. There was only one very small bin in the bathroom which was filled as we stayed 3 nights. No bin was provided in the main room where we made tea and coffee etc. Although the courtyard was lovely there was no seating outside. One man was sitting on the steps on his laptop.

Location excellent. Host excellent! Cleanliness excellent! So much we returned on our 18 day vacation.
