Nice hotel close to the beach with very friendly owner. He look after things well and are very keen to help. Beach is fabulous 🏖️. At the time we visited there was no trash at all. A perfect beach getaway in Trinco. We had an amazing time and it was a truly wonderful experience overall.

Pretty much standard guest house with higher than average rates. Despite it being new, and the construction was still ongoing in the second floor, the room looked already old, walls stained from humidity. The WC was so old, it looked like they found it on the street. On the other hand it had an electrical hot water unit looked like the newest model on the market. Simply not understandable. Generally Trinco/Nilaveli area has higher rates and worse quality compared to other parts in Sri Lanka.

Probably cheap building material is used that the rooms suffer from humidity already. It worked but I didn’t really enjoy the place and would not return.

The Laxsume Guest house was great value for money and the host was incredibly helpful - sorting tuktuks, tours, food, any issues etc. The guest house is a 2 minute walk from a pigeon island tour meeting point - highly recommend doing that and dolphin watching if you get chance. Lovely restaurants nearby too.

We stayed here for 4 nights and we really enjoy it! The room was clean and comfortable and the AC worked well. The owner is very kind and was always available to help us. The location is good, less than 10 minutes walk to the beach. You can also rent a scooter here for a great price
