Entire boutique mill cottage

Ruth was extremely helpful answering my questions and helping to make my stay more enjoyable with advice on walks in the area. The lockbox is great for gaining access. The bed was very comfortable with lovely pillows and duvet. I enjoyed a bath in the very lovely bath. The property is close to town and the supermarket. It does have views of the river through the trees.

The location was too noisy for me as it was next to a busy road, I always take ear plugs so sleeping wasn't a problem. There was no privacy as cars stop right outside the lounge window. Some milk would have been nice for a cup of tea.

The location is good but on a very busy road. The beds are comfy. The place was clean.

The toilet in the same room as the master bed. And the musky / mouldy smell of the utilities room.

The bed was comfortable it was easy to find, parking was handy.

Convenient location and ideal for an overnight or weekend stay. Unsure if it was damaged but the lack of a blind/curtain in the main bedroom was disappointing as there was a lack of privacy and too bright early in the morning

Location, host’s speed of response to queries, decor, house amenities and style of renovation all very good…..but the house was very very cold, despite all radiators being on. I’m not sure whether the property had been empty for a long period of time prior to my stay, but it was too cold to be comfortable…..which was a shame as this did significantly lessen my experience and ultimately my property rating

The pictures don't really do justice to how lovely the cottage is! It was super clean, comfy and decorated to a really high standard. Communication was really easy with Ruth and they were really accommodating for our needs. Wouldn't hesitate to go back when we're in the area again!

It was beautifully clean and very quirky. The host had left teabag a and milk which we appreciated.

Great little place to stay and ideal for a business trip or short vacation visiting the area. Comfy beds, all facilities needed available and a selection of local pubs, takeaways and restaurants to suit most people. Morrisons just up the road for those staying longer who may wish to shop and cook.

Wifi wasn’t great but can’t blame the hosts, that’s a BT issue.

This property & location was perfect for our needs, and if in future we have a need to visit the area we will certainly enquire to its availability
