Homested Homestay Fort Kochi

Fijne bedden, goed ontvangst.

Overboekt, weinig flexibiliteit.

The hosts were friendly and efficient in their approach to check in, requests for items, information about things to do. The areas were generally clean. Room cleaning did not take place whilst we were there for 3 days. No mention of it at check-in.

Main issue is the check in book with guests personal details are left in the communal area. Having used other homestays in close proximity there is no need for a paper based registration nor the need to leave it unsecure. We had Room 4 which came with a balcony. Unable to make use of the balcony as no furniture available! Please consider placing 2 chairs and a small table to provide guests with value for money. The communal fridge needs a,clear out. A,previous guest had left food, and 3 days later after our stay it remained. The bathroom is clean, save for the rusting shower head. Please change as it's not expensive to do so and it detracts from the presentable bathroom.

: A warm welcome and great hospitality! "I had a wonderful stay at Homsted Homestay and can’t recommend it enough. A special thank you to Arun and his father, Dave, who manage the place with so much care. Due to flight delays, I arrived at 05:30 AM instead of 19:15 PM. Despite the very early hour, Arun welcomed me with such patience and kindness, which I truly appreciated after a long journey. The first room was small and very clean. There was no hot water, which I’ve since learned is quite common in many places in India (it didn't really bother me, but good to know!). I decided to stay an extra day, and they were kind enough to upgrade me to a larger room on the rooftop—it was the perfect way to end my stay! La maison est très bien située. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et renseigné par l'hôte. Un très bon rapport qualité prix.

Nous n'avons juste pas compris comment mettre de l'eau chaude dans la douche, mais nous n'avons pas demandé d'aide non plus.

Posizione ottima, disponibilità del proprietario ad indicazioni e prenotazione di attività. Camera spaziosa con balcone. All'ultimo piano, bellissima terrazza.

Camera accogliente ma non totalmente pulita, bagno totalmente aperto (senza una tenda per la doccia), sulla strada quindi sia di giorno sia di notte piena di rumori. Letto molto duro, quindi molto scomodo.
