Homested was great and had everything I could have wanted in a Homestay and then some. Even had a rooftop where you could do Yoga!

A shower with hot water would have been great. Maybe there was a way to get it to work but I couldn't figure it out.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen und trotzdem zentral gelegen, um fußläufig sowohl nach Fort Kochin als auch nach Mattancherry zu gelangen. Es gibt eine Dachterasse, die ideal ist, um dort Yoga zu machen (Matten sind vorhanden) oder zu entspannen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und unheimlich hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns am späten Abend spontan geholfen, ein Taxi für den nächsten Tag zu organisieren, was nicht ganz einfach war und sie haben sich dafür viel Zeit genommen.

Had such a nice stay, we will be coming back two more times. Perfect base. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Really enjoyed the roof top space with so many plants for a cup of tea or a bit of yoga.. Everything is in a walkable distance. The neighbourhood is very relaxed. Dev and his son Arun are very helpful and accommodating.

"Wonderful homestay at the heart of Kochi!"

The room whole place (room and common areas) was well maintained, clean, and pleasent. The kitchen area is comfortable for sitting, the roof top accommodates many plants, that make it lovely. The room, including the bathroom inside, was very comfortable and well organised. There's a wardrobe, chairs, table, hot water flow, ac and fan. Many cushion. The hosts are welcoming and helpful, Dev (the owner) arranged many things for us. Ask him anything! He'll have either a solution or directions! Thanks 🙏🏽 By the way, there's a wonderful organic shop+cafe nearby, as well as a local market.

The only thing to keep in mind is that there are stairs to climb. If it's difficult for you, ask for a room on the first floor, then you'll climb only 2 short staircases.

We enjoyed a really great few days at Homestead Homestay. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It is in a central area of Fort Cochin. Devanand and his family are very kind and helpful. They gave us information on local activities and attractions. We found Devanand and his family very accessible with information. The rooftop had a wonderful peaceful garden that was suitable for yoga and reflection.
