Charming Studio in Reykajvik

Good size studio apartment in the middle of Reykjavík. Everything was new and delicate. This was better than staying in a hotel for us. The support from the staff was great even if it was digital.

The only negative thing about the apartment was some noise from the outside and condensation on the windows. The look was also difficult.

Located in the heart of the city, very close to excursion pick up points. Clean, cosy, well laid-out apartment that was good for the money. Close to a small convenience store. The video received for gaining access to the property help a lot with understanding what the exterior of the property looked like. Basics dishwasher tablets (not used) dish liquid, shampoo, shower gel, coffee bags and sugar were appreciated. Internet was good. Comfy bed, sofa and Huge TV. Close to great restaurants and bars.

The walls and windows are a tad thin, neighbour's and passers-by conversations were easily heard. Steam from shower was vented into the main living area, so the window above the door had to be opened to reduce condensation. Door key was not easy to remove from inside lock, had to wrestle with it on a number of occasions. Bathroom is small, people taller than 6 foot may find it cramped. All of the above did not effect our stay in any way.

The location

We had to complain how dirty it was, We were there for four days we couldn’t sweep up dirt & grit from our shoes as there was no broom or dust pan & brush, and no instructions on how to use the hob, oven & dishwasher we had to google it

felt like the Room has been a store or office before. big windows directly to the street, curtains had to be closed all time. poor equipment in kitchen and not cleaned upon Arrival.

The location was amazing. The host was excellent with communication. The facilities were great and room was contemporary and lovely and warm. Right on rainbow street near restaurants, cafes and bars. Close to harbour, everything was within walking distance. Would highly recommend.

Everything, especially the location.

Very close to the city, everything is walking distance. Our hosts were very nice,very helpful and very responsive. Transactions with them were very smooth.

Location was perfect, right off rainbow street most bus stop for tours were 3-10pm walk. The apartment was clean and looks just like the photos. Bars, everything was close enough for my liking

My only problem with this property is that it’s not meant to be an apartment it’s an office space converted to an apartment you can hear everything that happens outside from people walking to cars parking/ turning off and on. I purposely did not plan any activities for 2 random days because I wanted to relax but it’s hard you can’t sleep in peace feel like your sleeping on the side of the street.

The location is very central and convenient.
