Serenity Riad with Breakfast

Hajiba, la gouvernante, est très attentionnée et met tout en œuvre pour rendre le séjour le plus agréable possible. Son accueil chaleureux, sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse ont été particulièrement appréciés. L’emplacement est idéal pour découvrir Marrakech tout en profitant d’un environnement calme et reposant. Le Riad est superbe, et la literie est d’un grand confort. La petite piscine est parfaite pour se rafraîchir lors des journées chaudes.

En raison de la chaleur, nous n’avons pas pu ouvrir la toile qui sert de toit, ce qui a malheureusement réduit la luminosité à l’intérieur. La piscine était également assez fraîche, même si elle reste très agréable pour se rafraîchir lors des journées chaudes et constitue un véritable atout. Enfin, nous avons trouvé les lieux un peu poussiéreux, bien qu’une équipe soit intervenue pour effectuer un grand nettoyage le jour de notre départ.

Amazing location - right in the heart of the centre of Marrakech which felt like a real privilege to experience the local residents going about their daily lives. We were met on arrival by Hajiba, the housekeeper, who was always available to respond to questions and provide information. And the host, Simon was fantastic - available for any questions and extremely responsive. Despite the high temperatures outside, the riad stayed cool and calm and was a lovely escape from the busy streets and heat of the city. There were four of us, each with our own bedroom and bathroom and the riad was quiet and peaceful.

Both are minor points - it would have been great to have some parasols on the rooftop to shelter from the sun - there were poles available but no parasol tops. And perhaps a variation on the breakfast each morning.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé la modernité du riad et la beauté des espaces. La pièce de vie est incroyable, très lumineuse et très agréable à vivre. Le fait que chaque chambre dispose de sa propre salle de bain et de toilettes est aussi un vrai plus. Hajiba a été très attentionnée et aux petits soins tout au long du séjour.

Not many cooking utensils making cooking or using the kitchen hard. Breakfast was a little repetitive with not much variation. Dryer was on 24/7 as I think sheets and towels from other Riads were being done in the machine making it quite loud inside.

De locatie van deze Riad is geweldig. Je kunt lopen naar El Fna en zit ook meteen tussen allerlei tentjes, restaurantjes en dicht bij een taxi ophaal plek. De Riad ziet er heel mooi uit, smaakvol ingericht en heeft een prachtig klein zwembadje in het midden. Het dak kan worden geopend met een afstandbediening. Kamers zijn mooi en hebben allemaal een en-suite en apart toilet. Ontbijt wordt verzorgt en is prima.

We konden de juiste deur niet vinden, er staat geen nummer of niks op de deur. Dat was dus even panieken. 1 van de kamers had last van een rioollucht maar we hebben niet alle kamers gebruikt dus dat was voor ons geen groot probleem. Het water in het zwembadje is niet verwarmd! Was in november dus best fris...
