Modern 2 bed 2 Bath House in Sittingbourne by Splendid Stays

Good-sized property. Short walk into Sittingbourne for the rail station.

Area wasn’t great and parking proved challenging. Wasn’t the most comfortable property that would welcome a spruce up decoration-wise.

Everything was great would definitely recommend 👌

This property should never have made your books without firstly being checked out. I paid £230.00 for a 2 night stay with my daughter.. I am so upset, angry on the condition of this property, it is disgusting. I have photos. The tea towels were not vlean. They have brown staines. The hob was dirty The cooker was gross. Brown thick grease everywhere, The fridge had milk or yogurt marks inside the shelving area. The freezer had food in the draws. Washing up liquid was three quarters empty 1 tea spoon No tea or coffee in canisters. We only used the fridge to store milk. We could not use the kitchen. down stairs shower room Toilet seat not fixed Hand soap virtually empty Mirrored cupboard. Dirt dust and rust inside. Hairclips. You couldn't use it. Floor and window, paint splats everywhere, paint chippings Stair case Hand rail sticky. Large areas of paint falling off as you made your way upstairs. Then walking it through the bedrooms. Chipped paint marks on walls in every room Bedroom 1  Walkdrobe  mattress rolled up inside walldrobe bursting out, sliding door off its roller.  Bathroom - smudged marks on floor and tiles. Paint chipped and marks dirt on door and walls

It was peaceful once you shut the door

The property was in the middle of a rough housing estate. Parking was horrendous. It was hard to relax not knowing the car was safe . The bed wasn’t connected the two half’s came apart well sleeping. It wasn’t clean. Tea towels were dirty. There was all black fluff in the bed. As the pillows were just one flat pillow each. No slip mats in the shower. The garden was a mess. Back and front. No batteries in the remote for the tv we had to go and buy some.

Easy to get keys out of keybox but in terms of the property, area and homleyness i would not recommend this property. In my opinion it is not fit to be rented out on booking.com

Dead flies all over the bathroom floor, house smelt of cannabis, area felt scary and unsafe. Beer cans in garden outside. All curtains closed when you went in. Dark, dingy and extremely uninviting. Hair in the bath. I left immediately and phoned the provider and was told i could have a full refund which i did not get. They charged me a cleaning fee of £45 for a house i was in for 5 minutes and needed to be cleaned anyway. It was awful and i would advise anyone NOT to book here. It took me 4hrs on call to booking.com (over 3 days) to get any refund at all. I had to pay again at the holiday inn which left me short of money for our trip and caused me a lot of stress. The holiday inn was brilliant. I’d recommend anyone going to sittingbourne to go there.

When I first booked I thought it was a one level apartment but was pleasantly surprised to find it was a 2 bedroom house. Really lovely and loved the fireplace in lounge and dining area. Full equipped with everything you need.

Lack of parking

Lovely little house, suited our needs exactly. Everything was nice and clean, warm and inviting.

We could not find a potato masher, so we hit a snag upon trying to cook our first meal. The street it was situated on got very busy in the morning, and being a 1 way system, took a long time to get out of.

Nice quite street, house was spaces lovely and clean had all the immunities.

The Stairs leading upstairs was steep and steps was short.
