The Airfield Happy Apartment

There is nothing to dislike about this property. It is enormous inside and all of the fixtures, fittings and furnishings looked brand new The apartment was spotless, very well maintained and equipped, in an excellent location with a pub serving food and a chip shop only a short drive away. I didn't use the cafe below the apartment as I arrived after opening hours and left early next morning but it looked clean and nice inside and the menu looked varied and reasonably priced. This is an A1 apartment and the owners should be proud of the work they have done. Highly recommended.

Self catering.

The oven and hob was not easy to turn on. We had to figure it out from the instruction books. Should have provided a much simpler oven and hob.

Location. Space. Comfort.

The apartment was larger than expected and tastefully decorated. It was enjoyable being able to look out over the airfield and see the light aircraft. The kitchen was large and well equipped. We spent a very enjoyable evening and night at the property.

There was noise from the airfield and the cafe below from around 8 AM even on a Sunday. This was not a problem for us but could be for others wanting a nice quiet lie in. The two TV's did not seem to be smart TV's and so had limited channels/content to watch. We ended up watching Netflix on a laptop.

The accommodation was great. It was very spacious, modern, clean and had everything you would need. Very quiet at night. It was really interesting being right next to the runway and in the morning we visited the cafe downstairs for breakfast which was really tasty.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.
