Beautiful clean homestay, fabulous location. Helpful and friendly family. Delicious meals. I would love to have stayed longer.

The hosts are very friendly and inspire of not so good English went out of their way to answer our questions. Food was very good and more than plenty. My daughter is vegan and although no tofu she had plenty options. The owner helped us get a great boat man at an excellent price.

There was nothingvthatcI did not like but there is room for improvement. A fan in the balconey, a swing or a place to sit by the watter, hot water was plenty but in a backet.

A wonderful family and a magic place to be ! :) Warm, welcoming, smiling and super helpful. I felt at home and prepared wonderful home-cooked meals. They helped me with my needs, organized a superb canoe crossing in the backwaters for sunrise, and also pointed me to an Ayruvedic center very close to their home. They invited me to accompany them during outdoor ceremonies. Very nice moments and exchanges spent together. I highly recommend stopping by if you go to Munroe Islands.

Bliss Homestay proved to be the highlight of our recent Kerala trip. The ambiance was truly delightful, creating a genuine homely atmosphere. The room was impeccably clean, offering ample storage space in the well-maintained cupboards. A standout feature was the warm and accommodating hosts; their friendliness and politeness made us feel truly at home. They organized a reasonably priced early morning canoe trip, showcasing their commitment to ensuring a memorable stay. A charming pond in front of the house added to the allure, providing a perfect setting for our family's fishing adventure. The hosts went the extra mile by preparing the fish we caught for a surprise lunch, delighting our kids. Choco, their lovable dog, became an instant favorite with our children, making it hard for them to say goodbye. The delectable food served at the homestay surpassed our expectations, leaving us with no desire to dine elsewhere. Overall, Bliss Homestay exceeded our expectations, creating lasting memories of a truly exceptional stay.

We planned on passing by for one night and stayed longer because of the family. The room was clean, spacious and had AC and a fan. Everything we needed was supplied. But the highlight was the lovely hosting family. We had meals around the clock there and the food was the best we've tried in India. Super versatile with new and interesting flavours. Our one year old daughter particularly got a special attention. She was well fed and played with, she loved it there. They even made sure we got on the right train. I couldn't recommend more.

If the Island had a beach we would've stayed even longer ;)

I have travelled over two months in India and this property was very easily the best accommodation I've experienced by far. Good sized room, very clean, aircon and fan, plus nice bathroom with hot water. Outside of the rooms is a lovely cool terrace and a sofa, fridge to keep your water. The hosts and their adult daughter and son were incredibly friendly, hospitable, charming and very helpful. Always smiling and happy. They arranged a great boat trip and took me to see the Dutch Church plus invited me and the other guest to attend a Hindu religious procession, music, colour, wonderful sights and a temple Elephant! Last but not least, the Lady of the house made the most wonderful food, the dishes were true Keralan, all home made, no additives etc. Fish curry, chicken curry, masala chicken, two types of rice, rice pancakes, parathas, naan, rice vermicelli, lovely vegetables, tapioca, lentils all cooked to perfection and x100 better than you find in a restaurant. This homestay is truly a gem.
