Bliss Homestay Munroe Island

I loved living with this family who had a great sense of hospitality for a few days and who are the best cooks I've come across in India.

A fantastic place to stay. The food is home cooked with care, so it is delicious. The location is amazing, so peaceful and the wonderfully welcoming family will arrange a beautiful back water canoe trip if you wish. The facilities are new and really nicely done. You have a room with a large social area overlooking water and palm trees and banana plants. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.

We were happy with everything, I cannot think of anything apart from perhaps adding an extra soft armchair in balcony area, where there is a fabulously comfortable lounger/sofa. But really we were very happy with every aspect of our stay.

The experience was awesome. Right after we arrived, they came to pick us up from the station and they had the breakfast ready for us. They had also booked us ferry ride to explore the island, and the view was just wow. Even the stay was very clean and hygienic. The owners were very sweet and caring. If you are a dog lover, the owners have a very very sweet boy, CHOCO. They even came looking for us after the ferry ride, as we were lost. Even the location was very nice, away from the hush and rush. Awesome experience.

Our stay at this homestay was the highlight of our Kerala trip. The rooms were neat and clean. The hosts were very welcoming and they helped us explore the place and the local culture. They made sure that our stay was comfortable. We got to enjoy delicious homemade dishes along with the Onam-special sadya. It is a great place for families and friend groups.
