Perfect cottage vibe, clean and well maintained

Hoovers didn’t work so couldn’t clean up after ourselves, and upstairs shower didn’t work. But let the owner know, got an apology.

"This was a perfect family get away in a beautiful house."

Traditional cottage with lots of original features and history. Quirky house with hidden passage ways, secure garden and thatch roof. Very clean and tidy. Facilities for dogs were excellent and everything we needed to make our stay home from home was available with a few extras such as welcome gift and basic foodstuffs. Well situated with lots of places to visit and things to do in the local area.

Nothing was wrong with the house. We had a great stay here

It’s a thatched cottage very close to Stonehenge (which was important), Simon was really helpful, beds were comfortable, they laid on nice touches such as bread, milk, eggs, wine and chocolates- all very thoughtful. Nice walk very close by.

It needs a lot of TLC - I suspect it was purchased as a renovation project and it will be lovely once finished. Cleaners had left food in fridge and dusting/hoovering was a bit hit and miss and some bins were not emptied.

"Lovely and relaxing"

Quiet location in a village, nice and warm, cosy sitting room. Big bed. Sky tv, welcome pack of wine, chocolates and bread milk and eggs

Unfortunately we hoped to have a log burner, one reason why we booked, but not allowed to use it due to insurance risk. But overall we had a great time
