Beautiful Apartment in Character Former Rectory

It was easy check-in and Darren was friendly and helpful. He provided us with some recommendations of things to do which was really helpful as we were there for such a short time and had initially planned to have a car with us but we both ended up getting trains so we weren’t sure what we could do without a car. Everything that we needed was provided, it was a quiet and comfortable apartment.

The stairs are quite steep and narrow, this wasn’t an issue for us but it did make it a bit difficult when carrying a suitcase up the stairs. I imagine this may be an issue for some people.

Very comfortable , good location. Good instructions re the dos and don'ts.

Shower very difficult to work out.. It may be on an eco system, not sure. But ran cold quickly and couldn't work it out. Towels a bit small for the 3 of us.

Clean and in a peaceful location

Not easy for a large car to park in garage but this would not put us off returning.

Location and the facilities at the apartment were great. Penrith is a nice town, with good links to the lakes. This is a smart apartment with plenty of space to relax.

Just needed a different bedding option (duvet a bit warm) blanket would have been good.

The location is very good, near to the city center. We had all that we need in the house. Everything was clean.

Garage entrance is a bit narrow, The living room is tiny, in order to do any action You need to make space for that. There is probably something specific to know about using the hot water, At a certain moment it just stopped. All of this is minor.

Schitterend appartement met woonkamer, aparte slaapkamer, badkamer en keuken. Smaakvol en compleet ingericht. Zeer vriendelijke gastheer die bezorgd was over onze fietsen en een andere plek aanwees waar we ze veiliger konden staan.

Very clean and fully furnished. Few minutes from the town, train and bus station. Quiet location which make you feel relaxed.

Having a garage to park the car was really useful. The location of the property was excellent - very central but in a quiet street.

A dishwasher would have been nice.
