Rakuten STAY TERRACE Hakone Kowakudani

A beautiful apartment/room for us to stay in, and the private bath was wonderful. It really felt like a luxurious stay, and it was a nice treat in our itinerary.

The location is close to the train station, but there is no footpath along the road, and the hotel is around a corner and behind the station. There is a trail behind the station that can lead right up to the hotel, but it wouldn't be easy with luggage; it's more appropriate for your next day when you're looking to go out and explore. There are not very many restaurants or convenience stores within walking distance.

Svært at komme til / fra med offentlig transport. Vi skulle afsted på en dag, hvor det regnede, hvilket betød at alle busser var fyldte. Stå med fuld bagage i fuldt regnvejr og ikke kunne komme væk derfra var ikke optimalt.

this place was incredibly beautiful, big, clean and quiet

you could tell the hot springs bath was not properly cleaned or kept up to date but everything else was perfect
