Comfortable bed & chairs. Very effective fan on very hot day.

The welcome we received from reception

Food was nice. Bar area was cool and restaurant was air-conditioned. Good parking.

Too hot and only 1 small table fan didn't cut it. No extra fans available. Hot water pipes under bathroom floor made that a sauna too. None of us slept.

Breakfast was very good and the food for dinner was good on June 28 but the service was unacceptably slow despite there being few diners.

The in bath shower was poor and there were no handrails which is dangerous for in bath.

Enjoyed food and drink. Parking on site.

The room was clean, quiet and a reasonable size, with coffee/tea making facilities. The car park is right outside. The morning staff were friendly and helpful and provided a fair selection of breakfast options including full English breakfast. Dinner in the restaurant was also varied and pleasant.

The window frame fixtures were loose so opening/closing windows wasn’t so easy. The information booklet in the room said dinner was served on a Sunday between 6 and 8.45 pm. We booked for 8pm and when we arrived we were told the kitchen closed at 7pm! Incomprehension by the staff and poor management concerning updating of information to guests

Excellent staff. Good parking. Comfortable bed and clean and tidy. Bonus - good restaurant ( if a little slow)

Room was boiling. Fan inadequate. ( kind Batman provided iced water). Decor tired and in need of simple improvements. Curtain hanging loose as curtain ring missing. Tired net curtains. Broken window catch. Lack of adequate grab rail in bath/shower. All easily remedied if the management cared?
