Wasn’t expensive , bit run down ,awful pillows

Terrible but expensive food , mostly bought in / frozen fish etc , cheap steak and not a homemade pie

It was very friendly and situated in a lovely area. Bed was very comfortable rooms clean breakfast was amazing

All good. Nice to have real ales at the bar.

Staff were lovely, cannot fault the service, and the included breakfast was quite nice.

The room and attached bathroom were a bit grubby and not like the pictures, which was disappointing for the price. Thought it would be nice to have the restaurant downstairs, but it was rather expensive. Paid £30 for a main and a coffee. The pie and mash tasted nice but was definitely microwaved, which I wasn't expecting. Overall, it didn't meet the expectation of the price. I overheard staff saying the kitchen staff and menu were relatively new, which I can understand, but not good value for money.
