Nice and peaceful no rushing around

We had a lovely clean caravan by the lake. We felt it was a great location on the park. We ate in the restaurant and had a lovely meal. The children had a great time in the arcade and enjoying collection tickets for a gift at the end of our stay. The entertainment for the children in the evening was amazing. We all loved it . We felt a disappointed with the swimming pool . It was boring and not much fun. Having to take shoes off at the door before going into the shoe rack area was difficult and unnecessary . The children's play area we could tell was being developed to a high standard but it needs some more work. A sand pit would be a good addition to the area. We would definitely consider coming again and we really did enjoy our visit on and off the Park in the local area.

Overall we had a great time, the accommodation was really nice and great staff, we enjoyed the restaurant also.

The only small thing was the mattress it wasn't too comfy.

The chalets were spotless , modern and spacious. , the hot tub was fantastic. The staff in Box Fish takeaway were 2 young boys they were so lovely and made all the food fresh 10/10 boys . We tried the fresh pizza was nice also . The small shop was well stocked . Beautiful site . Been to Solway at least 12 times and love the changes .

Windows and patia doors of the chalets are very dirty in desperate need of a good clean n grass around park could be cut shorter keep it all looking perfect.

Caravan was spotless well done to your cleaners, I go on caravan breaks few times a year all over the country this was by far the cleanest. Park was clean. Dog friendly roof bar was nice downside it was very cold in there. Shop, restaurant & takeaway on site was very expensive. Staff friendly. Will definitely be returning

Prices for takeaway chipshop £3.99 for regular chips & £13.49 for a fish is very expensive, pizza van was also expensive 2 pizza's 1 skinny fries & 2 garlic dips over £31, I had basil & mozzarella it was missing basil & tasteless, husband had meaty one with very little topping again not much flavour, the stone baked base was nice.
