""Mokhira Guest House: Central, Clean, but Could Be Better Equipped""

Quiet and peaceful atmosphere: Even though the hotel was near the city center, it was very quiet and relaxing.

wasn’t much natural light, which made the room feel a bit dim. These were minor issues, and they didn’t ruin my stay, but I hope the hotel considers improving them for future guests. There was no mirror or table in the room, which would have been useful additions.

"Very rude staff and bad service"

Location.

We booked 3 nights. After one night we asked to extend our stay, which the manager accepted. However, on the extended day we were told in the morning to change room to a worse room. We accepted. We were not able to check in due to cleaning, though. When we arrived in the evening after a tour of the city we were told to check into a new hotel 5 minutes away on foot. However, the hotel was 30 min out of town by car. The manager was openly lying to us. We ended up finding another hotel but spend hours of driving and discussing with the manager. Very uncomfortable. Also during our stay we had to call the owner every time to get into the hotel. We and other guests had to wait +20 min late in the evening. We don’t recommend a hotel with this rude and unprofessional staff. PS notice how the owner often curses reviewers underneath the review. Odd behavior.

"Location good, staff good, guests low level"

Great staff, always eager to make everybody feel hsppy. But I was expecting somevreal insight travel info. What I got, is a bunch of grumpy, ugly old people, who think they are the real deal, but are miserable.

A sad bunch of guests, old and feeling like Livingstome. In fact just a bunch of losers.

The owner didn’t respect me [66years) and was very pushy She locked the o door and didn’t tell me anything (I just came back from a little foot operation and was standing in front of a lock door for many hours

"Inconsiderate guesthouse owner."

I booked the guesthouse and my booking was confirmed, later that evening just few hours before checking into the guesthouse, the owner said there is no available room and I needed to find another place. The horrible part was it was very late in the evening the owner messaged and it was a hazel to find another hotel room. So please think twice before booking this horrible guesthouse. Maybe should have another standby place to stay.

They accepted payment and then i got the following messages: 1. The hotel is closed 2. I'm sending you to my friend's hotel 3. İ refuse to give you the address or phone number of my friend's hotel 4. (From orbitz) the hotel is refusing to communicate. You'll be charged, for now, because your reservation was non-refundable 5. (From orbitz) Please review the hotel! İ went past the hotel and knocked on the door. İt was closed. Orbitz has not yet refunded my money, although it's only been two days so far.
