Akazawa Onsen Hotel

Clean. Relaxing. Good buffet. Great views.

It was unfortunate that the pool, the gymnasium, and the deep sea onsen were all closed while I was staying there. There was also a typhoon which meant the beach was undesirable. Closing this many facilities at once was a poor choice. It leaves guests with little to do except use the hotel onsen.

お部屋からの眺めが素晴らしく、お風呂も良かったです。 夕食では大変丁寧に作ったお食事を提供していただき、大変満足しました。また利用したいと思います。

日帰り温泉の施設が工事中で使えなかったのがとても残念です。また、岩風呂のスチームサウナも故障中で使用できず、残念でした。これらの施設が利用できない期間中の特別サービスのようなものがあれば良かったかもしれません。

This hotel is located at a very picturesque place, facing the ocean and the seacoast. The onsite onsen is beautiful, especially its outdoor part with the ocean view.. Breakfasts are great, with variety of options. Having free shuttle bus between the hotel and Izu-Kogen station is helpful, though has its nuances.

The shuttle bus is running under quite a weird schedule, not well aligned with the trains schedule at the Izu-Kogen station. With the check-out time at 11:00, having the nearest bus at 11:40 is quite a debatable solution. The biggest disappointment was the closed outdoor pool, even though on the Booking it was displaying as available at the moment of reservation. In fact, that pool was one of the reason to choose this facility among others, because our kids wanted it so much. Unfortunately, the management decided that “it’s only for summer”, regardless of this September being as hot as previous couple of months. No common sense and logic, just a stupid blindly followed rule. Even if so - keep your property info on the Booking up to date and do not mislead your guests. One more cons - it’s forcing the guests to prepare the bed places (futons) by themselves. We came there to rest, not to continue our usual home routine with making up the beds. I could understand it in case of some cheap hotels with minimum service, but come on, not here. All in all, the great place was spoiled by the poor management.

お風呂　景色が良かった

食事やお風呂は良かったです。

南館に宿泊しましたが、お風呂やレストランが遠かった事です。初めてのところなので分からず予約をしましたが、部屋のリクエストをすれば良かったと後悔しています。ちなみに障がい者手帳を所持している人が2名いて困ってしまいました。

日帰り温泉館が空いていて良かった。

日帰り温泉館のレストランを 利用しました。 以前は料金を部屋付でしたが 今回できなくなっていました。 財布など持参していなかったので 部屋迄取りに行きました。 事前に説明が欲しかった。

ロケーション、温泉共によかったのですが 何より食事が驚くほど見事でした。 味、質、スタッフさんの感じの良さすべて。

あの規模ながらエレベーターが一基だけということ位です。たいした不満ではないですね。
