Semaya Beach Resort

The resort Ops manager Mr. Murjana is very nice person and the staff all are helpful and friendly.

The location is a bit remote, no any places to go to or more restaurants to have more food options.

We recently stayed at Semaya Beach Resort, and it was truly a fantastic experience. Everything was exactly as beautiful as the photos; the property is stunning and provides the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. What truly set our stay apart, however, was the exceptional service. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, but I must give a special shout-out to Artana. His dedication and warmth made our experience truly unique; he was always attentive to every detail, anticipating our needs with a smile. We could not have asked for a better stay and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a memorable and heartfelt experience.

The property is an amazing space, with amazing views of the ocean. We stayed in an ocean private pool room and it did not disappoint. The room was large, clean & spacious and the pool was large for a private pool, which was so good to spend time in. The staff were all so kind and attentive and were always smiling. You could tell they had all been so well trained and wanted to help whenever possible. Property is clean and well kept, this is perfect for a relaxing quiet stay.

Everything was perfect

The resort is beautiful. The staff are all excellent and really do work very hard to make the experience wonderful. Our room was always clean and amenities restocked daily. All the linen towels etc smelled absolutely beautiful, fluffy nice towels and robes to use. Any request was performed quickly and efficiently.

The drinks were incredibly expensive and I felt this was a blatant money grab due to the isolated area in which we are located. 7500 for a bintang is shocking. We stayed 4 nights and the dinner options were disappointing. Several main dishes were simply not available for the length of our stay and being so isolated (while an experienced rider) it was too dangerous to use the scooters at night to locate other restaurants for dinner. I felt the drinks being so expensive the food should match this price expectation and it was so so disappointing. A 5 star resort needs to have contingency plans in place to enable alternative options for food should they run out of steak, lamb etc. We were told the oven was broken on the last 2 nights so no pizzas either. Eating a burger at a 5 star resort with a 7500 beer was almost comical by day 3. You are not able to bring food in from outside the resort either. Scooter rental is apparently not affiliated with the resort, however the security staff did correct collect money for the scooter rental manager when he was not there. Having to pay daily was stressful, he did not speak good English or pretended not too and again being so remote I felt this is done on purpose to encourage using drivers (400+ a per trip) twice he tried to tell us we had to pay again for the day rental when we had already paid. I feel the owners of this resort place too much pressure on the poor staff to facilitate these inconveniences and poor management. It's very unfair as they work incredibly hard and appear to do long long shifts.

Nous avons passé une excellente nuit au Semaya Beach Resort. La villa était superbe, parfaitement équipée, avec une splendide salle de bain et une magnifique piscine privée à débordement offrant une vue imprenable sur l’océan. Nous avons également dîné au restaurant de l’hôtel et avons été conquis par la qualité du repas. Les plats étaient raffinés, gourmands et préparés avec beaucoup de soin. Le petit-déjeuner, servi le matin sur notre terrasse face à la mer, était tout aussi délicieux et a parfaitement complété cette expérience exceptionnelle. Enfin, l’accueil a été irréprochable. Tout le personnel s’est montré chaleureux, attentionné et très professionnel tout au long de notre séjour. Nous recommandons cet établissement sans hésitation et espérons avoir l’occasion d’y revenir lors d’un prochain voyage à Bali.

We really enjoyed our time together at this resort. Beginning with the staff, they were so kind and helpful. The food there also, amazing, the rooms also amazing. We had the ocean view with pool room. A dream come true to be there, to have such a view and the design of the bathroom. Lizards were not an issue here. There was one small house spider, however, not scary and it was out on the terrace. The bedding was clean, could be a tiny bit more clean, but I am also kind of a clean freak. We had room service, which was nice and yeah, this is a great place. Overall the best resort we’ve been to! You should definitely check it out and enjoy the breathtaking views of the ocean and relax by the pool.
