Semaya Beach Resort

The bed was huge and super comfortable. The view was fantastic (cliff top ocean view villa with private pool). Everything worked and was exactly as pictured. Staff were so friendly and attentive. Villa was exceptionally clean and nice fittings throughout.

The property itself is very isolated, however, it was also what we liked about it, but as there are no taxis on the island, a round trip back to the harbour took 2hrs and cost 800IDR. There is literally nowhere else to go and nothing within walking distance. There was a lot of bugs (outdoor bathroom) and millipedes in the villa, they are harmless but if they freak you out- this isn’t the place for you. The villas weren’t as private as advertised as there wasn’t any partitions between the villas, so you could see across to the next 4-5 villas (guests in their private pools and outdoor area) Food wasn’t bad but not fabulous either. As mentioned earlier, there isn’t anywhere else to go. The additional 23% surcharge on all food and drink was unexpected and not appreciated.

Quiet , clean, great space and wonderful staff

We had a truly wonderful stay. The hotel is exceptionally quiet – perfect for fully relaxing and recharging. The interior design is modern, stylish, and thoughtfully curated, creating an atmosphere where you immediately feel comfortable. We would especially like to highlight the service: attentive, professional, and pleasantly unobtrusive – the perfect balance. Thank you Iwayan for taking care about guests! 🙏 The food is also excellent, with high quality and great taste throughout. Overall, a place you’ll be happy to return to.

There are really no negative points – the only thing to note is that the distance from the harbor is a bit long, but it’s absolutely manageable.

The property was in a beautiful location with their own beach and private location. The staff and the care they gave was exceptional. We loved the restaurant. The selection of food was wonderful. Special mention to Yulia who made sure our restaurant experiences were so special, welcoming us everyday smiling and joyous. All the staff are a true asset to the facility.
