Arise Seaside Hotel

It’s nice to stay. Good location. No window but pretty quiet. Small space but o for one person. In the north.

The room was large and well equipped. It was always kept clean by the hardworking housekeepers. The location was ideal, just a few minutes walk to the beach, and there are many restaurants close by. Fast Wi-Fi, elevator to upper floors, an electric kettle and a nice warm shower with great water pressure. It checked all the boxes for me. Each and every member of the staff is to be commended; they were so kind and went out of their way to make me feel at home.

After 8 year in SE Asia, I should be used to the very firm mattresses that are found everywhere here, but I still d o miss a softer bed.

There was absolutely nothing to be liked about this place. In 15 years of travelling to Vietnam, this would be, without doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We booked for 5 nights for three people, and the hotel was so bad, we departed, bitterly disappointed after two nights.

The photos and the description of the room were totally inaccurate. I had booked a Deluxe Triple room, fully expecting a Deluxe room. We were offered a room with three beds, and a view less window that opened into a ventilation shaft containg all the airconditioning motors, hardly a Deluxe offering. The WiFi was almost non existent and most certainly the slowest experienced anywhere in the world. The whole place is very very old, and while the room service staff did their best to keep the place clean, they had a thankless task on their hands. The whole building should be demolished.

I received a room without a window, there was one but it led to a tiny technical area without sunlight. Overall, the room was in a very tired condition. For the price they charge, it would be fine if not one problem: the room had abysmal mix of mold and cigarettes smell coming somewhere from the technical area probably from lower floors. I started to feel pain in my lungs and head after few hours of staying there. So I decided to ask to change the room and they agreed, they gave me same room type but at lower floor which, unfortunately, had the same problems. I ended up checking out earlier without refund because of health problems. I know they have acceptable rooms with windows outside, I would recommend staying there but better avoid these rooms without actual window.

I liked the room size and it was clean in the room, the beach is a few minutes away The internet is quite good
