This stay was FABULOUS! The staff were warm and welcoming, the location is beautiful and the rooms are excellent!! My friend and I stayed for two nights and for her birthday they all came to sing happy birthday after dinner. The rooms are super comfortable, spacious with beautiful high ceilings, and a lovely bathroom (with nice products too!!). I would definitely recommend it!!

This is the most wonderful place. The setting is idyllic, the food is excellent and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Everyone here went the extra mile for us and it made our stay wonderful. The lodge has a warm feel that really was a home away from home.

Wow - what a magical experience! Hands down the best hospitality I have ever experienced. Apart from the gorgeous aesthetic, the setting and service felt intentional. Everything from the people, to the food and the property itself - you can feel that it is all a labour of love. If you’re after beautiful sunrises, warm sunsets or simply want to star gaze.. you will be pleasantly surprised by the magnificent views all round. Thank you very much to everyone that made my stay as magical as it was - I will be sure to visit again!

"Absolutely fantastic stay"

We spent two absolutely fantastic days at the lodge. It is situated on a hill, so you can enjoy a great panoramic view and wonderful sunsets every day. Everything is beautifully and modernly furnished. The food, wine selection and coffee were also fantastic. The location directly on the N2 means you can get to the Tsitsikamma in around half an hour. The lodge is therefore a very good starting point for hikes. Last but not least, we would also like to praise James and the entire staff: they really went out of their way to make sure that we had a fantastic stay.

Fantastic location. The hosts (James and Alice)were very welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay great. All the meals were fantastic and Alice is certainly a great chef.
