GBBreakfast great. The host, Mel: no words to describe her. Outstanding. Brilliant. Helpful. Friendly. Are just a few. Booking: Alderney is a small island with only three independent B and B’s. One of the other two just totally ignored me. The other one did answer the phone, said she had a room available and asked me to let her know what time I was arriving. However, I had to book flights. I did so, within the hour. I rang back. No answer. From another source I found her email address. Messages were ignored. Slightly frantic now, having booked non refundable plane tickets I searched for alternative options. Booking.com saved me. I found Mel from Bonjour Guest house. Booked. Mel is as described above. I had a fantastic room, no 4, top floor which had an amazing outdoor terrace. What a fantastic bonus.
There is no possibility of not liking anything.
