Das Abbadia Wine Relais ist ein Ort zum verlieben. Wunderschön eingebettet in die Landschaft, mit viel Gespür für Architektur und Atmosphäre gestaltet. Die Zimmer hochwertig, stilsicher, bis ins Detail liebevoll gepflegt. Alles wirkt wie frisch vorbereitet - für genau diesen Moment. Sarah und David empfangen mit Herzlichkeit und einer unaufdringlichen Gastfreundschaft, die spürbar von echter Freude am Gastgebersein getragen ist. Man fühlt sich willkommen und wertgeschätzt. Und als charmantes Detail rundet Ruby, der liebenswerte Hund, das Gesamtbild auf ganz eigene Weise ab.

Everything about our experience was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and were incredibly helpful with local tips and info. The service, the comfort, the atmosphere—flawless. We’ve stayed in apparently fancier, more luxurious hotels, but this place gave us that truly exclusive vibe—where you feel seen, cared for, and genuinely valued. It’s the perfect place to relax, sip wine, unwind, and feel completely spoiled from start to finish.

Everything! David and Sarah are amazing hostesses, very friendly, very careful with every single detail, from the beautiful and fresh homemade breakfast, to every lit candle! Tea and water are disposable at any time. Love the silent luxury proposal, all surrounded by plenty lavender, rosemary bushes and olive trees. I would come back for sure.

Linda propriedade, com uma bela vista dos campos e das videiras. Café da manhã muito gostoso. Sarah e David foram ótimos anfitriões e recebem os hóspedes com muito zelo e cuidado. Quartos com ótimo espaço, limpeza impecável e com tudo de muito bom gosto. Adoramos tomar café da manhã na companhia da linda cadela Rubi. Ótima localização, a 5 min da vila de Montefolonico e 15 min de Montepulciano.

Le cadre est idéal pour se ressourcer. Nous venions pour notre voyage de noces et c'était parfait. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants. David est de bon conseil pour visiter la région et connaît les bons restaurants. La localisation est idéale pour découvrir la région du Val d’Orcia et Montepulciano.

Si la cuisine (qui est en place) pouvait être utilisée par les locataires le midi / soir cela serait encore mieux.

Sarah und David waren hervorragende Gastgeber die uns durch ihre freundliche und familiäre Art super betreut haben. Die Lage ist einzigartig ein Erlebnis für alle die Ruhe mit Toskanischer Gelassenheit erleben wollen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Ich weiß nicht, wie oft wir darüber redeten, wie froh wir sind, uns dieses lange Wochenende gegönnt zu haben. Herrliche Ruhe, schöne Lage mit tollem Blick in die Natur. Gutes Frühstück im Olivenhain, sauber und gemütlich. Freundliche Kommunikation vor und während der Reise. Und das Highlight war dann das Private Dinner, dass wir dazu gebucht haben. Wunderbar!

Fliegengitter hätte ich schön gefunden. Mücken gab es zwar tatsächlich keine, aber auf dem Land verirrt sich ja doch immer wieder mal was ins Zimmer... Wenn man hier bucht, muss man wissen, dass man zum Essen gehen die Anlage verlassen muss. In Montefollonico gibt es ein sehr gutes Restaurant, das fußläufig erreichbar ist, wenn man die Höhenmeter nicht scheut. Ansonsten benötigt man eben immer ein Auto.

Wir waren drei Nächte im Abbadia Wine Relais und es war einfach traumhaft. Das Grundstück ist wunderschön und sehr gepflegt – perfekt, um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Die Einrichtung ist stilvoll und modern. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag ein Highlight, mit frisch gebackenem Brot, Joghurt, Früchten und köstlichen Süssspeisen. David und Sarah sind fantastische Gastgeber – herzlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Sie haben hier wirklich ein kleines Paradies geschaffen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! Sarah and David were incredible hosts – so kind, helpful, and always available for anything we needed. The place was peaceful and beautifully designed with great attention to details. What touched us most was the authenticity of the place – it truly has a special charm. Keep in mind that a car is a must in this area – it’s the best way to explore the beautiful surroundings. If you’re renting one, we recommend going for a higher-clearance vehicle, as the roads in the area (and access to the property) can be a bit tricky. We wholeheartedly recommend it!

Please note that the roads leading to the property can be a bit challenging – but that’s also part of the charm, beauty, and sense of peaceful seclusion that makes this place so special.

Our stay at Abbadia was unforgettable - definitely a highlight of our our two-week trip to Italy. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking, and the stone buildings are beautiful and timeless. Our room was private and comfortable with great views of the Tuscan countryside. We enjoyed the hosts, David and Sarah, who were just amazing - friendly, professional and attentive to every detail. We especially enjoyed having breakfast in the olive grove with nature all around us. During the day, we had an easy drive to hilltop towns such as Montepulciano, Pienza and Cortona. We hope to stay again in the future.
