Access to the beach was excellent. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The swimming pool was of one depth which was nearly all 6 ft . Not suitable for seniors who would like aquatic exercises and mild swimmers.

Chambre très spacieuse avec une jolie vue sur la piscine et sur la mer. Nous avons très bien mangé dans le restaurant de l’hôtel et surtout proposition de plats locaux. Prix du restaurant et des boissons très abordables.

Petit défaut dans la douche. Mauvaise évacuation de l’eau, de ce fait, il fallait racler le sol pendant et après la douche.

Très bien et très propre.

La ville uroa et trop calmant mon goût, mais reposant pour celui qui est en a besoin.

This hotel was an absolute disaster from start to finish and should be avoided at all costs. Dishonest and unacceptable billing practices: We were quoted only a USD price for the stay. At no point was a TZS price or any exchange rate disclosed. At checkout, when we tried to pay in Tanzanian Shillings, the hotel simply made up an exchange rate on the spot (2,800 instead of the real market rate around 2,400). This was never agreed to, never communicated, and felt like a clear attempt to overcharge us. Completely unethical and unprofessional. Severe food poisoning: After eating at the hotel, we suffered very bad food poisoning. We ordered a calamar plate and the taste was really awful, it was clearly not fresh and not eatable (even if it was from frozen calamari). Very long time for food: You will have to be patient for one cooked plate you will need to wait between 30 min to 1 hour (even for basic plate like eggs for breakfast) No staff and long waiting on arrival: On our first night, there was no one at reception when we arrived. We had to wait over 30 minutes for someone to show up, despite the fact that we were the only two guests in the entire hotel. Being left alone with no staff present felt unsafe and incredibly poorly managed. Rude and unprofessional attitude: When staff finally appeared, the lady at the reception had a very bad attitude, was dismissive, unhelpful, and made an already awful situation even worse. There was no sense of hospitality or care for guests at all. This hotel demonstrates: • Dishonest and non-transparent pricing • Unsafe food handling • Lack of basic staffing and organization • Rude and unprofessional customer service and especially owners Between the attempted overcharging, getting seriously sick, waiting 30 minutes with no staff, and the terrible attitude at reception, this was one of the worst hotel stays we have ever experienced. Do not stay here it’s not worth the price that you will pay for the room
