MANOLO Beach Resort

Wir waren 5 Nächte im Manolo Beach Resort und es war eines der besten Resorts während unseres gesamten Sansibar-Urlaubs. Wir haben auf der Insel mehrfach die Unterkunft gewechselt, aber in keinem Resort waren die Mitarbeiter so herzlich, aufmerksam und freundlich wie hier. Das Zimmer war top: Es wurde jeden Morgen gründlich gereinigt, die Bettwäsche regelmäßig frisch bezogen und vom Roomservice liebevoll mit Blumen dekoriert – jedes Mal aufs Neue eine schöne Überraschung. Das Essen war hervorragend. Besonders der Catch of the Day war unglaublich frisch und perfekt zubereitet. Auch das Frühstück war grandios und ließ wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Der Privatstrand und der Pool waren jederzeit sehr gepflegt. Jeden Morgen wurde alles gereinigt und sogar das Seegras am Strand von den Mitarbeitern entfernt. Uns wurde wirklich jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Die Cocktails waren fantastisch und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier einfach. Das absolute Highlight: Zu unserem Honeymoon haben wir ein kostenloses Room-Upgrade bekommen und das Zimmer wurde traumhaft schön mit Blumen dekoriert. Das war in keinem der anderen Resorts der Fall. Wir können das Manolo Beach Resort von Herzen weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Rien a part wifi était un peu long mais passable

Manolo was much more than what we've expected! Friendly caring staff. Facilities great. As it is recently renovated, everything is brand new in the rooms. Good quality linen with excellent housekeeping (everyday). The swimming pool overlooks the ocean. Perfect seaviews from the bar area. A good menu at the restaurant with great food. Christmas buffet dinner with entertainment was very special. This was a great place to rest at.

Nothing, great stay

Beautiful, brand new, quiet beaches, cleanliness, very accommodating staff, beautiful location. Accommodated my smaller children’s restrictive diet. Grayla the manager was superb in assisting with all requests.

Nothing to comment. Some suggestions to improve would be umbrellas in the room, and co-ordinating with the other hotels over new years to create more of a vibe and party scene. Complementary Cake for all over NYs was a lovely touch. Note the adult pool is quite deep, can only stand if you are more than 1.85m

Nice staff, clean place, bar is nice, beach is beautiful.

Area is remote and not much to do outside the resort.

The facilities are modern and nice. Rooms are spacious and clean. The beach outside the hotel is kept nice, though this isn’t beach paradise but that’s not a function of the hotel. Food is very good overall though the desserts aren’t the best. Breakfast is good as well. The pool is great, and the pool table is a nice touch and we enjoyed it as did other guests. It’s a nice boutique hotel and has great potential.

Our welcome was anticlimactic. We had just arrived from a long trip and we were made to wait for half an hour in the sweltering heat before check in, then started a comedy of errors and problems. It turned out that the only manager-like person at the hotel was a hapless 22 year old who didn’t really know how to deal with guests and she was quite overwhelmed and had a very bad attitude. Other guests complained similarly. We were surprised because all other aspects of the hotel were good. Next morning, the senior manager apologized profusely . She said this was a function of people calling in sick, leaving the 22 year old to take care of running the resort, which she clearly was incapable of doing. After that our stay was great in all respects and we were treated very well. If they take care of training staff and make sure they are not short staffed, this is a great resort.

Resort an sich, Pool und vor allem das Frühstück und Personal waren spitze.

Leider sehr viel Seegras am Strand und viele Seeigel im Wasser, sodass der Strand nur eingeschränkt zum Baden eingeladen hat

Super kind staff that helped us in a medical emergency. very clean and calm hotel.

The location can be too calm during off season.
