Sigiri Prabha Villa

Probably the best value for money place I have ever stayed in.. A little off the beaten track. Owners are extremely friendly and will do anything for you. Made us delicious food throughout the day (and early breakfast).

After driving in my rented tuk tuk through a beautiful traditional Sri Lankan neighborhood, I entered through property gates. Two gentlemen passed through a patch of banana trees and greeted me like long friends of my past. They hopped into the back of my tuk to guide me 75 meters through a beautiful tropical garden of many organic fruits and vegetables. In the middle of this oasis garden, my beautiful detached bungalow with large porch, comfortable fresh bed, and large bathroom, stood out as being one of the most impressively designed and cleanest stays I had in all of Sri Lanka. A powerful AC, fan and most comfortable bed you could ask for in an accommodation. The owner, Prabash, and his trusted assistant, Ajith, were two of the nicest people you could ever meet in this world. There is nothing they won't do to ensure you have an absolute perfect stay. Transportation arrangements, tea, or something to eat, anytime of day. Prabash himself, uses his mother's recipes to cook wonderful meals with ingredients from the garden at very reasonable prices. Do try the meals, as they were some of the best I had in SL seeved in a wonderful dining area. This property is a standout among the others in the area. I obviously highly recommend it.

Host is kind man and communication is agile via WA. He organized me transport from Dambulla to property. Organize me for free visit of the farm, and gave discount for transport to Sigiriya. Made me a dinner (extra charge) but he you can order it also at the site, he will make. There is no mosquitos, Internet wifi is good and strong.

Window stayed open and frog entered in my room, but host promptly came and solved it.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Guesthouse war wunderbar! Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, ruhig gelegen und eingebettet inmitten wunderschöner Natur 🌱🌴🌿 – ein echter Ort zum Wohlfühlen und Entspannen. Die Lage ist ideal, um die Highlights von Sigiriya und Dambulla schnell zu erreichen. Gleichzeitig genießt man hier absolute Ruhe abseits des Trubels. Das Frühstück und Dinner waren ausgezeichnet – besonders das frische Obst und Gemüse aus eigenem Anbau und die daraus zubereiteten lokalen Speisen haben uns begeistert. Die zuvorkommenden Hosts kümmern sich liebevoll um ihre Gäste und haben uns auch bei der Organisation von Ausflügen mit unserem eigenen Tuk Tuk unterstützt. Hervorheben möchten wir hier auch unseren Helfer, Fahrer und Guide, der uns immer behilflich und absolut freundlich war. Wer gerne Gesellschaft hat und mit den Locals in Kontakt kommt, ist hier genau richtig. Wir empfehlen dieses Guesthouse auf jeden Fall weiter und schicken herzliche Grüße an Prabash und sein Team 💕

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour ! Les hôtes sont des personnes extrêmement gentilles et attachantes, qui ont fait en sorte que notre séjour soit inoubliable, et tout ça dans un cadre magnifique. La guesthouse est située dans un parc d'arbres fruitiers, et toute la nourriture vient du potager. Nous avons pu faire le safari-jeep pour voir des éléphants, le rocher du lion, mais ils nous ont également fait faire des tours en ville. Ils nous ont payé des glaces au lait pour le trajet en tuk-tuk, puis nous sommes allés boire le thé chez sa famille, et ensuite boire un thé avec un moine dans un monastère. L'hôte a vraiment envie de tout faire pour ses invités. Je vous recommande cet endroit les yeux fermés, merci d'avoir rendu notre séjour inoubliable !

Le départ

Si vous souhaitez vivre une expérience authentique, alors vous êtes au bon endroit. Il faut savoir que les hôtes resteront tout le long de votre séjour avec vous (les repas, ils vous amèneront toujours partout...). Si vous aimez partager alors c'est idéal. Les hôtes sont adorables et font de leur mieux pour que vous soyez heureux ❤️

Very pretty environment with friendly staff. They helped organise tours for us and can also provide basic but tasty dinner. Overall great value!
