Sigiri Prabha Villa

This place is a paradise on earth. First of all the location in the middle of a banana garden is just splendid. Waking up with the view of jungle with the birds singing is the standard. And also there is a “little sigiriya”, a lake and Buddhist sputa in a walking distance. Also did I mention the lovely dog and cats. And lastly the owner is like a best friend on a trip with you. He and his colleague will help with literally anything and everything (without ripping you of, the price is super ok). He will show you around or give you tips where to go. He will show all the little secret places around the house. If you need to go somewhere he will gladly accompany you (if you want to, he will not push you into taking him as a taxi for x 1000 rupees) or he will take you to the nearest bus stop and stop the correct bus for your destination. Almost forgot the cooking. Huge homemade traditional breakfasts. Same for dinners . We asked him for a “cooking show” aka he cooked with him a traditional dinner on an open fire, we got involved in every step of the cooking using fruits and vegetables from his garden. And it was the best meal we had in Sri Lanka! Originally we wanted to stay only for one night, and we booked a second and totally changed our plans just for this place. I strongly recommend to stay here at least two nights

Someone may not like the location, it is not at the location of the sights but reasonably far. Someone may not like the overly friendly owner, if you don’t want to spend time with people this is not a place for you, (but you are missing out a lot)

During our stay at Sigiri Prabha Villa, we were warmly welcomed by the owner and the staff, who were extremely helpful throughout our visit. They went above and beyond to plan our entire trip, ensuring we had a wonderful experience. One of the highlights was exploring the village with them, and we even had the rare opportunity to bathe in the lake and the huge pump from the Villa, which was an unforgettable experience. The food at the villa was both delicious and affordable. We were also amazed by the beautiful garden, which is filled with fresh fruits and vegetables. Guests are welcome to pick and enjoy them at any time, adding a special touch to our stay. The live cooking experience was another highlight, and it was incredibly affordable.We enjoyed a unique and authentic Sri Lankan-style dinner, followed by a fun karaoke session and dancing The villa itself is surrounded by stunning scenery, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff also arranged a tuk-tuk ride for us to Kandy, which was reasonably priced. We always used their tuk-tuk service because the rates were fair and reliable. We will definitely return to Sigiri Prabha Villa and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful, authentic experience. You wont find any where like Sigiri Prabha Villa..affordable and reasonable compare with other places

Best place ever! The nature is Just so peacefull and beautifull around you. You are literally surrounded by banana trees, papaya trees, jackfruit, and so many more beau fruits and flowers, rice field a lake and a beau rock you can watch the sunrise on. Its a very magical place that i truly love. The food you eat mostly comes fresh from their garden and there is also a possibillity to cook food together in a nice traditional way its just special. The two hosts are very friendly people and after a few days i can truly call them my freinds cause i already love them to much! they truly have hearts of gold. They arranged a safari for us with a discount price, brought us to a spa place as we asked, and brought us to Sigiri pidurangula to view lions rock you can see they do this from the heart and not just for the money so i can highly recommend this place they gave way more then i expected<3

Our stay in Sri Lanka was made truly unforgettable thanks to the incredible hosts. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. We enjoyed so many wonderful experiences together – they took us to visit beautiful temples, showed us breathtaking sunrises, and treated us to delicious, traditional home-cooked meals. It was, without a doubt, the best stay of our entire trip. Their hospitality and warmth will always hold a special place and people in our hearts.

We had an amazing stay! The hospitality of the owners was outstanding, and the location, surrounded by nature, was perfect for a peaceful getaway. We cooked Sri Lankan food with them, that was amazing. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Wonderful and place to spend vacation.we were warmly welcomed by staff member.They are soo Friendly and helpful..we went around the village by there tuk tuk. They bought us to many historical places and wild safari too..we had cooking session during our stay which was extremely new and wonderful experience for us..Their food was soo delicious and worth of money we spent.Compare to other places here we found thi place cheeper but exceptional from the service.Overall we had wonderful and excellent experience..Place was Amazing..Eco friendly..Staff was Superb...Worth Of Spending our money here..

The room was in a clean ,beautiful garden. The staff was kind and hospitable . We enjoyed a night there .

یه ویلا وسط یه باغ با انواع مختلف میوه‌ها که توسط پارابها اداره میشه، خیلی فرد خوش‌اخلاقی هست و تمام تلاششون رو میکنن که به مهموناشون خوش بگذره، بسیار گرم و صمیمی برخورد می‌کنن. از لحاظ تمیزی خوبه و برای رفتن به سیگیریا جای مناسبی هست. پیشنهاد می کنم.

به خاطر شرایط ویلا که توی باغه حشرات توی اتاق میان که خب طبیعیه. با آب حموم مشکل داشتیم. آب گرم و سرد جدا بود و نتونستیم تنطیمش کنیم.

The stay in Sigiri Prabha Villa was one of the nicest experiences of our time in Sri Lanka. The host Prabash was very friendly and took us around the surroundings to see wild elephants, sunrise and show us beautiful religious and nature sites. We spent much time together all for free. The food was delicious and the rooms very nice and clean. We ended up staying for 3 nights instead of one.
