Coffee machine in bedroom was a challenge to operate.

The whole property has been decorated to a very high standard. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant had a wide and varied menu, from pub classics to Lamb Kofta's, with generous portions and reasonable prices. Beautifully decorated throughout giving a nice and relaxing ambience. Plenty of parking.

Due to the hot weather we had to sleep with the windows open and there was quite a bit of traffic noise from the M20 and what sounded like an extractor fan from the kitchen

The room was very spacious and nicely decorated, with a huge TV on the wall! Dinner was very nice but the breakfast was exceptional with plenty of choice and superb quality food - and all the waiting and bar staff were charming and helpful.

We procrastinated over our booking and ended up spending a lot more on our room than we had seen initially - our fault but something to be aware of. One minor issue was that sometime around or after midnight we could suddenly hear loud music playing. This only lasted for around 15 minutes so we didn't feel the need to complain. Perhaps the staff were playing music on the sound system whilst clearing up / cleaning, unaware of the music noise affecting the bedrooms above? If so, suggest this is brought to their attention to prevent others having their sleep disturbed.

The room and bathroom are large, clean and well laid out. The parking is ample and the setting is pretty. The bed was comfortable.

The room was hot (a fan was provided which we used) but we had to have the the window open so we had the trains rushing past until late, music from the restaurant downstairs and the noise from the guests on the patio outside below us. We had dinner with friends in the restaurant and the service and food were terrible. One of our guests had an allergy which she informed the waiting staff about, and the kitchen ignored the information. Far from ideal. Our second stay here but we won’t be back. The location is too remote if you’re not eating at the restaurant.

Bar space was limited and restaurant whilst food was pricey.

Comfortable room

No breakfast available despite web site intimating that it is available. They offer a bag delivered to the room with apple and a croissant. Cannot describe this place as a hotel without offering a full service.
