Location & pretty nice hotel. Staff was friendly.

Didn't like the fact that we had to pay extra to park in their parking lot. AND, especially didn't like the fact that when I had originally booked for 2 nights & had to cancel 1 night, they increased the nightly rate of the room I had already booked. I will NOT be staying at this property EVER again because of that. And, I'll have to think about ever staying at ANY Hyatt property again. It's not right to increase the room rate after you've already booked it months in advance & have to cancel a night.

No hot tub Trouble with key access to pool

I regret booking my stay at the Hyatt in Lubbock and I requested a couple of weeks before my check in to cancel or change my reservation to which they could not accommodate. The manager is terrible and racist which she also gave me a dirty room that was unacceptable. The 2nd room was all the way at the end of the hotel when there was clearly open rooms that were closer to the elevator. The pool was surprisingly closed every time me and my family tried to use it. I would call the front desk and there was a young gentleman and the other a young female who had also provided terrible customer service by keeping me on hold for quite some time so I went downstairs to find both of the workers just sitting there on their phones.

Convenient location for TTU football game.

We chose the late check-out option but we still had housekeeping come knock on our door 3 times before our check out time.

The bed in our room was awful! It sloped down on one side (like it was broken) and creaked and popped.
