The staff were very friendly and helpful

On arrival I was given 4 different codes to access the building and Room. The atmosphere was generally one of the place being run down and mismanaged. The room was above a pub which was depressing. The stairs leading to the room hadn’t been cleaned . The bed linen was clean but unironed. One bath towel was provided initially , later topped up at my request but still no bath floor mat. There is nowhere in the bathroom to put toothbrushes etc. no water glass

Beautiful building Good size room Close to train station & cathedral

disappointed with our stay, room was clearly not cleaned before we arrived, beard hairs on the floor, skirting boards were full of dust, hairs in shower etc. Check in took longer than expected as only one person working at the bar. I have contacted the company through hotels but yet to hear a response.

The bathroom was very small Tea and coffee ok, no tea bags and no milk.

Great location, good choice of drinks. The bar man that checked us in was really good and went out of his way to help us.
