Fantastic location , lovely modern room in a old Victorian pub , right in the centre of town very close to great bars and restaurants, great pizza place just a minutes walk away . Nice modern bright room , smart TV comfy bed and a Good shower , what more do you want 😬

Rooms were nice and fresh decor and spacious

We really liked the size of the bedroom as well as the amenities offered. The bar tender that checked us in was also very kind and friendly. The location was also perfect close to the train station and different shops and the town centre. The pub is also playing awesome music.

The bathroom could be improved in terms of cleanliness. Since the room was for two people, it is better to provide two cups instead of one.

Excellent deco, clean & comfortable. Very close to other bars, restaurants & showing. Staff friendly& vey helpful. Pub was lovely, great atmosphere & on the doorstep.

The staff walked into my room while i was in bed, there was a mess up on the system and they thought the room was empty.

Great location

Room wasn’t clean, only 1 pillow per person and bed was hard

When we arrived the rooms hadn't been cleaned, the sheets were dirty, blood stained, there was sick in the sink and it all needed cleaning. Having looked at alternative accomodatoon, we ended up buying new bedding and cleaning the room ourselves. Not a.good day. A real shame - the location was all good, just standard of cleanliness was really poor.

The room was spacious with a very comfortable big super-king bed. Shower was hot and effective, though bathroom otherwise small. Once you are upstairs the rooms are lovely, like a different planet from the bar downstairs. Convenient location for Westgate station.

Don't come here expecting it to be a hotel. It is rooms over a bar and they don't do breakfast. Entrance is either through the bar when open, or round the side and back through courtyard and grubby corridors, via keycode doors. We were left with about one eighth of a toilet roll and no spares, couldn't face going down to the bar and asking for more after our tiring journey, so bought our own next day. Duvet was winter weight and far too hot for the time of year.
