Fisherman's Retreat

Great location easy walk to quay and restaurants, comfy bed, quite well equipped for cooking. Managers easy to contact and helpful when had issues with TV.

Weirdly no signage at property on road or indication which apartment. Had to rely on photo of front door to identify house and apartment. Car parking arrangements also not signed so just parked right by front door. Sofa in living room really uncomfortable. TV temperamental.

Perfect location. Modern lovely accommodation. Good value for money.

Excellent location in Wells. Comfortable furniture., Facilites fresh and in good order. Nice light main bedroom. Pleasant small garden.

Poor insulation from flat above so great deal of heavy footsteps.

Beds are very comfortable Close proximity to local eminities Very clean & modern Had everything you could need The owner is very welcoming I highly recommend that I would love to stay again

Location

Occupants upstairs being a little noisy and nicking our car parking space. This annoyed us a little as my father who came with us is disabled so a parking space outside the door was really ideal until the other people decided to use it. May be make things clearer about where each accommodation can park or allocate so users know. Only a slight grumble though overall

Clean, close to all shops and restaurants. Good parking, both rooms have own bathrooms. Comfortable stay. Everything we used was in good working order.

No name on the building, so difficult to locate.

There was no name on the house ( neither Eastdene nor Fisherman’s Retreat ) and we had to ask 4 neighbours before one suggested which house it was . It was difficult to work out how to switch on the TV ( eg first switch it off at the socket…). Written instructions would help - but the owner was happy to instruct over the phone.
