One of the reasons I opted for the stay here was due to the connectivity and easy access.

I recently booked a hotel through Booking.com for a work trip, and my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I encountered significant issues regarding the billing process. As I was traveling for work, I required a GST invoice, which the hotel refused to provide. They claimed that bookings made via external platforms like Booking.com were not eligible for a GST invoice. This was extremely frustrating, as I am a frequent traveler and have never faced such a problem at other hotels, all of which provided the necessary GST bills without issue. I spent over an hour on the phone, both with the hotel staff and Booking.com customer support. The first customer service agent I connected with had poor communication skills and was unable to resolve my issue. After multiple calls and nearly two hours of back-and-forth, someone finally reached out from Booking.com and promised that the issue would be resolved. When I arrived at the hotel in the evening, I was assured that the correct invoice would be provided, but it was a very time-consuming and unprofessional process. Additionally, the hotel room itself was disappointing. The toiletries were insufficient, and I had to request basic items multiple times. The hot water was not working, and during my two-day stay, only one bottle of water was provided. Overall, I was highly disappointed with both the hotel and Booking.com’s customer support. This experience has made me rethink my future travel bookings. I will not be staying at this hotel again, and I will also consider other booking platforms for my future travels due to the unprofessional handling of my concerns.

Room had good amenities.

The event downstairs had the music blasting which was heard just as loud in our room which was in the 2nd floor.

Staff were pretty nice; the facilities were as advertised, and the location made it easy to get food orders and Ubers from the place. There was always somebody at the front when I had questions and had to add an extra day; I got in at 3:30 in the morning and he was there. No smoking, and quiet enough that sleep was as easy as it gets when dealing with this kind of jet lag. No bugs at all.

As an American who can’t speak Bengali, there were some definite communication barriers, mostly with housekeeping. Luckily, I had help from a local friend. The beds are pretty hard and the floor wasn’t completely clean (a few wrappers from the previous person were around). No breakfast, and the coffee service wasn’t worth trying. It’s best to just order out.
