Chilamar Surf Lodge

Such a WONDERFUL place for solo travelers, families, couples, and basically everyone! The owner is the nicest sweetest most generous person there is, very attentive and helps with anything the guests might need, the place is hugh with a magnificant view to the beach, there is a big pool, Wi-Fi, kitchen, the rooms and hotel are VERY clean, there is area for working out and exercising and there are also games like darts and ping pong. The hotel is located right on the boardwalk and the beach where there are restaurants, amusement park, bars and everything one might need to have a wonderful stay. Come here, you wont regret it!! This place worth every dollar!!

The best part of the stay was the staff. The owner was the sweetest woman on earth and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. Everything was accurate to the description and it was so nice to have AC in the room. One down side was that there is a soccer field next door so it was very loud during games and it's also used as a Helio pad. Otherwise the location is very convenient as everything you need is within walking distance.

Amazing people! Regina is the best. Super close to punta roca. I was there for the contest and I’ll come back for the next year for sure.👍

Beautiful location! Perfect for what I wanted! The beach and tons of restaurants are within walking distance. Renting a surf board or a motorcycle is really easy and convenient. The manager was very accommodating and friendly. All I had to do was just ask for anything I needed!

The location.

The place is dirty and abandoned: this goes for the terrace, the kitchen and you guess it: the rooms. When it comes to our first room the bathroom gave of a horrible smell which took over the whole room. After one night there, we asked to switch rooms. Of course another surprise was waiting for us. The airconditioning in the second room was dead. It has to be said that there are 2 very friendly volunteers who work at the hostel. However they are not given anything by the owner to fix the problems they are faced with. Therefore the main task assigned to those volunteers by the owner is to take the blame for pretty much everything that goes wrong.
