Himalayan Glory Inn

The best part was the rooftop. We really enjoyed sitting there for breakfast - an oasis from the noisy street below. We also went one evening for a very tasty dinner. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were excellent. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The shower was good.

Really, just the towels. They were not very soft and the were dingy.

I liked the breakfast and the coffee served during the breakfast was my favourite. Nice, chill music played during the breakfast. The staff were very polite and friendly. The hotel is placed at the perfect location

The room I was staying at is not soundproof and I could hear every movement from the above placed kitchen, but the earplugs solved the problem

We enquired about booking bus tickets at reception to travel to katmandu, initially quoted 1600 rupees by the nice girl we was talking to but then a man on reception overtook the conversation and quoted a higher price. I had the impression that the guy was unhappy with his female colleague for quoting a reasonable price to us. We felt he was trying to overcharge and so we went to the bus station to book.

Staff were cordial and supportive. We got 15% discount voucher on food and three complementary coffee upon arrival. View of the lake from the roof top restaurant was the best amongst vicinity. Weekend eve live local music was awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed it. English breakfast was brilliant considering value for money. Room was spacious though amenities were average.

Room a/c needs to be more powerful to cool whole area of the room. Only the front side 4th floor rooms have lake views. Room facilities are good enough but a bit old requiring maintenance/ replacements.

Nicely styled, clean and comfortable room, great value for money, very comfortable bed! The staff were super helpful and cheerful, and made the stay enjoyable. The rooftop lounge had great views and had really nice live acoustic music.

It’s my second time in this Hotel and I love it. Location is great, and to me the best is its people. Everyone!!!! From the warmest Manager to the loveliest cleaning Ladies. Always greeted with the best smiles!

The hotel had a lovely view of the lake and a very impressive roof top bar with excellent live music. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Location was convenient, close to both the lake and to shops/restaurants.
