Himalayan Glory Inn

I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel. Excellent location one block from the lake. Mango welcome juice was tasty. Room was clean. I requested 4th floor to have a view of the lake and the view was really nice. Larger room than other places I’ve stayed in Kathmandu. Breakfast was super tasty and had a large variety of food items included in every meal. They packed a to-go meal when we had to leave early for the bus. There was a 15% discount for eating lunch or dinner at the restaurant and we had an excellent dinner there. The restaurant is on the 5th floor with lake views and it is decorated nicely. No concerns eating all food menu items considering our stomachs are sensitive to food bugs.

It was noisy, although we still slept soundly. Since the restaurant is on the 5th floor and there is a bank on the 2nd floor, the public has access to the rooms. There is security, and we didn’t have an issue but something to consider.

Very spacious, comfortable bed and great shower and bathroom facilities. Great location on Lakeside. We extended our stay 1 night will no issues at all. Really handy having laundry there too, although a bit pricey, the convenience of dropping off and collecting from reception was ideal. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We got a room on level 4, which is just under the rooftop dining so it was noisy with tables and chairs being dragged around at closing time - but wasn’t bad. It is also noisy from all the close bars and their live music. You do hear people, hooning motorcycles until around 3am.

The room and location were excellent, comfortable etc. internet connection was also very good. REception and security staff were particularly helpful

There was a fair amount of noise of moving furniture in the restaurant on the floor above.

Very good hotel, in the Lake side of Pokhara. Very clean, and with friendly, attentive staff. It has a nice roof top terrace. You have plenty of shops, restaurants, cafés and bars nearby (which makes the location a bit noisy, but this is a problem that- I think - all the hotels in the Lake side have ).

Great location. Well maintained. Room very clean and comfortable. Hot showers, nice towels. Wifi good. Breakfast choices were good and portion sizes generous. 360 is a nice place for a drink and somewhere to eat at the end of the day, especially if you have been trekking all day. Excellent value for money. Did I mention the staff? Staff are friendly, attentive and deliver an excellent service whether it’s front of house, waiting staff or cleaners and security. All good.

My room was at the front so a bit noisy till about 10.00pm. But not the fault of the hotel

The room was great- comfortable bed and bathroom facilities.

The bar next door and the bar above were both very loud in our room- that isn’t our style- so we probably would look for something a bit outside the noisy part of town next time- but if you want to be close to the night scene- then the location is great. Staff are not especially well informed about buses and shuttles in town- so best to look elsewhere for bookings.
