Overall Rating: Highly Recommended (Great Value) ​There is no denying that this property is spectacular. A 200-year-old home that has been completely and meticulously restored, the aesthetics of the rehab will blow you away the moment you walk in. The host managed to preserve the original facade and interior character while decorating the space incredibly tastefully. ​The Highlights ​Aesthetic & Atmosphere: The restoration is top-tier. It feels like stepping into history, but with all the modern comforts you need. ​The Neighborhood: Fantastic location. You are surrounded by excellent restaurants and things to see. It is also a commuter's dream—the bus stop is right around the corner, and the train into Porto (and beyond) is just over a block away. ​Quiet & Peaceful: I was surprised by how quiet the home is despite being in such a vibrant neighborhood. ​Convenience: The beach is beautiful and just a short walk away. For those who like to cook, the kitchen is well-stocked with plenty of pots, pans, and utensils, and a grocery store is conveniently located right around the corner. ​Hospitality: The host was magnificent—very friendly, responsive, and punctual for check-in. ​Things to Note ​The Layout: As is common with historic homes, the bathroom is quite small. It is great to have a private bath, but it’s a tight fit. ​Temperature: The house can feel a bit cool and drafty (again, part of the 200-year-old charm!), but there are heaters provided in each room which solved the issue for me. ​Quirks: The front door is a bit sticky; it takes a little finesse to figure out the trick to it. ​Final Verdict: While no place is perfect, this beach house is an incredible find for the price. If you appreciate historic architecture and a prime location, this is a fantastic value for your stay in Matosinhos.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war total freundlich und stets auf das Wohlbefinden seiner Gäste bedacht. Das Haus ist super schön eingerichtet und alles war sehr sauber. Die Lage war sehr gut. Bushaltestelle und Metro in der Nähe. Kurzer Weg zum Strand und ein Lidl direkt in der Nähe. Empfehlenswert!

Check-in e Check-out super prático e simples. De funcionários só conhecemos a Flávia. Ela foi 5✨️, muito acessível e simpatica. O alojamento tem uma excelente localização, muito bonita a casa e muito acolhedora. Tem as condições necessárias e suficientes.

La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de todo pero sin el ruido del tráfico, puedes acceder andando al metro, a la playa, a restaurantes, a supermercados y todo los servicios necesarios. La habitación es grande y cómoda, baño con piezas históricas y cocina compartida con todo lo necesario, además de salón y patio, así que si coincide con otros huéspedes agradables, puede ser una gran experiencia.
