The Tradesmans Arms

Der Empfang war herzlich und sogar der Parkplatz war mit einem „welcome to the Tradesmans Mr. And Mrs….“ gekennzeichnet. Das Zimmer gemütlich und sehr sauber. Es gab einen Biergarten, der bis in den frühen Abend gerne genutzt wurde, der Pup hatte bis ca 20:30 Uhr geöffnet. Es war herrlich ruhig, allerdings auch abseits eines Ortszentrums. Das nur 300 Meter entfernte Restaurant an der Kirche hatte leider die gleichen Öffnungszeiten, d.h. man benötigt ein Auto. Frühstück wurde frisch auf Wunsch serviert, sehr lecker. Wir können das Tradesmans nur empfehlen.

Wir sind Sonntags am Nachmittag angekommen und bis Mittwochs Mittags geblieben. Das Restaurant schließt sonntags um 15 Uhr und öffnet dann erst am Mittwoch Abend wieder: Finde den Fehler…Pech für uns! Wie gerne hätten wir die (mit Sicherheit sehr gute) Küche genossen.

The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and beautifully cooked, very tasty. The garden was a lovely peaceful place to sit . The evening meal was delicious too.

We had a fantastic stay at the Tradesman’s Arms. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We booked in for dinner which was superb and the breakfast too was great. Lovely touches were a space set aside in the car park and a summary of the weather forecast displayed at breakfast. We would certainly visit again and would recommend it.

The property was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The welcome was friendly with the added touch of a parking sign with our name to welcome us. The next 2 mornings we had a welcome sign on our table with information about the weather.

We should have researched a little more, as we didn’t appreciate that the kitchen wasn’t open on a Monday or Tuesday evening.

Clean, comfortable, great location, great food and ales. Exceptionally helpful staff - I was taken ill and hospitalised during our stay. The staff were a great help to my wife whilst I was away.

Nothing to dislike!

Review of our holiday ! We have just spent a few days in The Tradesmans Arms and we're more than happy with the beautifully refurbished room, very tasty breakfasts and dinners, pleasant, friendly staff and stunning surrounding area. We wish we could have stayed longer.
