"Beautifully restored property in a perfect location"

Location is lovely - opposite the village green in Stokenham, with Torcross and Slapton Sands beaches within walking distance (45 minutes) or 5-minute drive. The property has been beautifully and sympathetically restored following a fire a few years ago. Our room was tastefully decorated with a huge, modern bathroom and walk-in shower. Delicious breakfast with choice of cereals etc. plus hot food if you want it, all freshly cooked. The beer garden is a lovely spot and popular with locals as well as visitors. Nice touch is that the staff always remember to reserve a parking space for residents. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Nothing really - just a suggestion to extend the evening meal time to 9.00 pm. rather than 8.00 p.m. Also to let future guests know that there may be some restoration work to neighbouring cottages in the future. Wasn't a problem for us but worth a mention.
