Panache Wildlife Cottage-Self Catering

I had the tremendous pleasure of staying at Panache for over a month! Cathy is the most incredible, supportive, and kind host I’ve had in all of my travels. The cottage is absolutely perfect and located right inside a fantastic wildlife reserve where you can step outside your door and see monkeys, zebras, giraffes, and so much more! The Kruger is a short drive away to see the Big Five. Cathy is also an expert tour guide who will take you through the Kruger or arrange low-cost local guides if she is not available. The cottage is spotless, freshly cleaned, and stocked daily with coffee and teas. It’s within walking distance to excellent shops, restaurants, and an amazing gym. I started with a one-week stay in the guest house and then decided to stay for a full month after having such a great experience. The main house offers all the comforts of home, with a comfy bed, full kitchen, large living room, and a lovely patio to enjoy your morning coffee. The pool is just a few steps away. I cannot say enough positive things about Cathy and her home, and Hoedspruit is the perfect town to enjoy a local experience right outside one of the top national parks in South Africa!

I don't have a single negative thing to say. It was wonderful!

We just needed somewhere to stay after a week in Klaserie as our friend's house was under renovations. It was perfect for this purpose and Cathy was very kind and helpful.

The location is what's needed for a holiday. Very relaxing. Crime free zone. Wildlife.

I liked everything about that place. I wish to retire there.
