The real gem here was our host Kathy. She went above and beyond to ensure we not only enjoyed our time in Hoedspruit but also helped us with our planned travel in Kruger. She even followed up with us to make sure all went well. The room was a little tight especially with luggage and backpacks. Good size bathroom with lots of hot water. Bed was very comfortable. Table and chairs outside. Good parking and very secure.

Overall experience was amazing, the host was so genuine and welcoming. The space is quite cozy, very suitable for resting if you have a lot of activities to do during the day, the atmosphere is very fresh and quiet .Note it’s not self catering.

The pictures on the website were misleading. There was no pool or deck as advertised. No space in the room. No cupboard or luggage counter, we had to leave our luggavge in the car. No milk for tea coffee, just 1 teaspoon of coffee. Mattress was most uncomfortable

Comfortable and clean. Special staying in a Wildlife Estate. Conveniently located to shops and restaurants. Cathy was super helpful and friendly. We arrived on a motorbike and it wasn't a problem being in a wildlife estate. We were informed the day before, the location and what the rules of the estate are, which is very helpful
