The Railway Sleeper

Very comfortable clean accomodation. Anne had supplied tea coffee biscuits milk .We were staying there as we were attending wedding in Galgorm which was close by. I would reccomend this place to stay

This property is an old train station building. It was kitted out beautifully and had everything one would need. It was very comfortable and the only downside was that the artisan bakery and coffee shop next door was not open on the Sunday so we were unable to try it out.

Unique quirky location, nice standard of fittings, host was excellent at coordinating heating and easily contactable. Host also went the extra mile to post me an item I had left behind. 10/10 service.

There's a level crossing nearby and of course with it being an active train station, it turns into a great alarm clock around 6am. So maybe not the best if you're wanting a lie in. That being said, there is not really anything that the host can do about this.

Keys are located at the front door in a lock box. The rooms were immaculately clean. All mod cons. Lovely touch of having a wee bottle of milk in the fridge. Extremely cosy. Absolutely loved the train station memorabilia and references to the trains etc. Main bedroom was spacious and cosy.

The heating is controlled by the host. It was quite cold during the night.

Beautiful, sympathetically restored apartment in the old railway station is a perfect location as a base for touring the beautiful Antrim coast. Although it’s a working station the noise and disturbance is absolutely minimal, in fact it adds to the experience. The accommodation was faultless, very comfortable and our host Anne was very attentive in responding to any questions raised ( which were minimal). If you are looking for a quality base to explore the area, don’t hesitate, get it booked. You won’t regret it! Many thanks.. Neil & Amanda.

All first class

An unusual property in an excellent central location for touring Antrim Coast and Glens. Very cosy and comfortable, with a great coffee shop next door.

As we were staying for a week, some more storage space in the bedroom would have been useful.

We liked the whole place, location, cleanliness, facilities and ease of access. Great hub for us visiting friends with a real feeling of nostalgia, can’t rate it highly enough. Thank you Anne for all the messages and checking everything was ok, it certainly was and if we’re over again we’ll be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
